为什么是体育商业和营销?

I aspire to become a social media manager especially in the sports industry. Both programs are giving me the skills necessary to hold the position I want by helping me better my communication and teamwork skills. The extracurricular and hands-on opportunities I've received as a student are helping me visualize what my professional life will look like. 我不仅跑田径, but manage various social media accounts for Mount Union's athletic teams such as football and track and field. Through my involvement I am able to gain leadership skills and professional expertise, which not many students can participate in.

家外之家

I grew up hearing about Mount Union because my dad was a student and football player here. He speaks highly about the academic programs, 校园社区, and the unforgettable relationships he built with friends, 队友, 和教授. 当我开始找大学的时候, I knew that I wanted that same experience, 所以我决定去游览联合山. I loved that Mount Union strives for their students to achieve excellence both academically and athletically and that aligned with what I wanted in a school. 我的教练, professors and 队友  challenge and push me to give the best of me, 帮助我达到我的极限 potential, and I am grateful for that because I forged these relationships through Mount.

给未来学生的建议

When you visit schools ask lots of questions and try to picture yourself on that campus. Make sure that the school and the community align with your values as well. I love the community both in the classroom and on the track field. I always feel so supported by my 队友 and coaches at practices, 满足, 就在我的日常生活中. 在教室里, my classmates 和教授 are always there to help and are encouraging; I feel like everyone wants the best for each other here and I love being apart of this community. So, not only focus on the school's academic programs and excellence, but analyze the relationships of current students and faculty/staff.
